The heart of what we do

In-home ABA that feels like play

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is one-on-one therapy that helps your child build communication, daily-living, and social skills - at their own pace, in your own home. We come to you across Lebanon, Cookeville, and rural Tennessee, so you're not driving hours to a clinic that doesn't exist out here.

What in-home ABA looks like

If you've been told the wait for services is years, or that the closest provider is an hour away - Developmental Journeys ABA exists to knock down those barriers.

We bring ABA therapy to your home across Lebanon, Cookeville, and the surrounding rural communities, so distance and waitlists don't decide your child's timeline.

In practice, we turn play into progress: asking for a snack, taking turns, getting dressed, handling big feelings. A board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) writes and oversees the plan. A trained therapist (RBT) carries it out. We track what's working for your child, adjust as they grow.

Good questions, honest answers

How many hours of therapy will my child need?

It depends entirely on your child and your goals. After the assessment, your BCBA will recommend a number of hours and explain why - and we'll always shape it around your family's life, not the other way around.

Is it really play-based?

Yes. We follow your child's interests and turn everyday moments and favorite activities into learning. It should feel like time well spent, not like work.

Where do sessions happen?

In your home and the places your child already goes - the kitchen, the backyard, the park. Skills learned in real settings are the skills that stick.

Who actually works with my child?

A registered behavior technician (RBT) provides the day-to-day sessions, supervised by a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) who designs and oversees the plan. You'll know your team.

Is ABA covered by insurance?

For most families, yes. We accept TennCare and major plans and handle the benefit checks and paperwork so you can focus on your child.
